About Kori
I am so glad you are here!
People who know me well would say I am compassionate, silly, open, expressive, fast talking, fun, and full of moxie. When I am not working with clients, you will most likely find me hanging out with my husband, friends, or two adult daughters (when they are home) – possibly playing board games, watching movies, planning a trip to the ocean, cuddling my dog and two cats, singing or dancing around my house, baking something yummy, or having lively conversations about everything imaginable and laughing way too loudly.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a relationship expert, and a lifelong connector of people. I bring over 15 years of therapy experience and extensive training to my work with clients. Together, we will explore what is getting in the way of your connection to self and others with openness, curiosity, and compassion. It is never too late to begin the process of healing.
I welcome and celebrate all people in all bodies. I work to support the dignity, value and worth of all individuals. I am an LGBTQIA+ advocate and ally.
For as long as I can remember, I have been endlessly curious and interested in people.
I love my work, and I feel honored to be invited into my clients’ lives and relationships as a source of support.
How I Work with Clients
I view each client as unique and curate the best individualized approach for your therapy. My style is client-centered, trauma informed, and integrative in nature, while being deeply influenced by attachment theory. I have a reflective, curious personality, and my ability to connect and empathize with others brings a relational aspect to my work, but I can also be challenging and direct when appropriate. My goal is to support your work.
You matter.
Your story matters.
